The dangers of handling D.I.Y. kits of paint sealants: It is dangerous to use any paint sealants if the car body has not been properly prepared. Through years of experience, we have found that harmful pollutants from acid rain, industrial fallout, exhaust fumes, tree sap and other acidic residues embedded in paint's pores can cause adverse effects, especially if they are not thoroughly removed before sealing.
